Since Arsenal, Inc. started entertaining the idea of manufacturing a real AKS-74U 5.45x39 caliber rifles, we have been swamped with e-mails and phone calls in support of the project. So here it is!

For the first time ever, Arsenal, Inc. introduces its own AKS-74U 5.45x39 caliber rifle. Dubbed Krinkov in the United States, this semi-automatic version of the world-famous Russian rifle comes in the original short barrel configuration straight from the factory.

Built with all correct and matching components on an original Russian receiver, the production of these AKS-74U rifles is limited to 20 units only. Intended for serious collectors and enthusiasts, this limited edition of AKS-74U rifles utilizes some of the most rare and sought-after components.

Since the beginning of this project, we have been receiving requests and suggestions from AK enthusiasts on the configuration they would like to see. To satisfy the demands of the most, we will allow you, the collector to choose the configuration and the serial number you desire.

The first variation of AKS-74U rifles features the Russian, made in the Tula factory, metal folding buttstock with curved-in edges and ribbed butt plate.
