5.56 Rifles
Rifles chambered for this cartridge were developed in Bulgaria to offer standardization with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. They are specifically redesigned to successfully accommodate the NATO standard SS109 round, which was adapted from the first US assault rifle cartridge, the .223 Remington.
