Arsenal Inc., a premier American importer and manufacturer of semi-automatic Kalashnikov-pattern firearms, is pleased to announce\u00a0America 250: Part II, a continuation in spirit of the highly celebrated Arsenal America 250 campaign.<\/p>\n

The Arsenal America 250 campaign was created to commemorate the United States\u2019 250th anniversary and honor the armed citizenry. Rather than producing a limited run commemorative firearm intended for collectors, Arsenal chose to celebrate by making its high-quality, mil-spec AK platforms more accessible to the American people.\u00a0 The response exceeded expectations, with Arsenal providing more than its original allotment due to overwhelming support and enthusiasm from customers all over the nation.<\/p>\n

Since the conclusion of the promotion, Arsenal and its dealers have continued to receive requests from customers who were unable to participate. Many asked whether another opportunity would become available.<\/p>\n

Features 100% new-production parts and components. Bulgarian hot-die hammer forged receiver, bolt, and bolt carrier. Cold hammer-forged 16.3\u201d barrel from Arsenal\u2019s Bulgarian factory, built on Steyr manufacturing technology, hard-chrome plated bore and chamber with left-hand 14mm threads. Includes AK scope rail, Intermediate length US-made 10\u201d trapdoor buttstock (total length of pull 13.4\u201d.) 922(r) compliant with US or imported magazines. Substantially extended service life over other types of assemblies. Installed on this rifle is the Enhanced Fire Control Group from FIME, the AK enthusiasts favorite.<\/p>\n

This 5.56×45 rifle combines authentic, high-quality features rarely seen in the American market. From its intermediate-length trapdoor buttstock to its removable muzzle device, every component of the SAM5 is engineered to provide decades of dependable and accurate service. The SAM5 rifle is extremely sought after and a very collectible firearm.<\/p>\n

Arsenal\u2019s SAM5 receiver is milled from a hot-die hammer forged receiver blank by the Arsenal Co. of Bulgaria. Other milled-receiver AKs are machined from bar stock, but Arsenal\u2019s hot-die hammer forging produces stronger and finer-grained steel. Internal voids and cooling deformations are eliminated by the 5-ton hammer forging process.<\/p>\n

The forged receiver blank requires over 5.5 hours of milling before assembly. This forging and milling process is complex and time-intensive, but Arsenal\u2019s meticulous attention to detail delivers a receiver of unequalled strength, precision and durability.
