Although some AK’s have no issues with suppression, there is always the chance of a baffle strike if proper safety checks aren’t done in advance. To be safe with any AK, regardless of manufacturer, it is suggested that the barrel be gauged to ensure the threads are concentric and you will not get any baffle strikes. There are many different tolerances between suppressor manufacturers’ bore sizes that failure to do so may end up destroying a firearm with a baffle strike. You can have a qualified gunsmith check it for safety or buy a correct size gauge rod for your firearm’s caliber to test on your own.<\/p>\n
