AK-20

The AK-20 Series represents Arsenal’s modernization of the legendary Kalashnikov platform, preserving its renowned reliability, durability, and proven operating system while integrating features demanded by today’s modern shooters. Developed in the Arsenal Custom Shop, the platform introduces a redesigned front-end architecture with a true free-floating barrel, proprietary three-position adjustable gas system, full-length Picatinny optics rail, M-LOK® compatibility, and enhanced suppressor readiness. Built around Arsenal’s U.S.-manufactured precision milled receiver and cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel, the AK-20 improves modularity, optics integration, serviceability, and shooting consistency without sacrificing the rugged performance that has defined the AK for more than 75 years.  

Every AK-20 firearm is individually assembled, inspected, test-fired, and verified for suppressor thread concentricity to ensure exceptional quality and performance before leaving Arsenal’s facility. The platform is engineered for long-term durability, featuring a MIL-SPEC Black Cerakote® finish, field-friendly maintenance, and an adjustable gas system that allows shooters to optimize operation for standard, suppressed subsonic, or manually cycled “Quiet Mode” shooting where the gas system is shut-off. Combining modern engineering with Arsenal’s uncompromising manufacturing standards, the AK-20 Series establishes a foundation for future rifle and pistol models while remaining faithful to the enduring heritage of the Kalashnikov design. 

The AK-20 platform will continue to evolve through future rifle and pistol models, expanding upon the same engineering philosophy introduced with the AK-20 Series.
