This is a stainless steel disconnector spring for AKs and their variants. The disconnector ensures that the hammer is held back when the gun cycles. It catches the hammer by means of this spring until you fully release the trigger. Then the disconnector releases the hammer, and the sear catches it in preparation for the next trigger pull. Made in USA.
