The AR-M5F Picatinny rail system is an extremely solid, low profile rail platform that provides 7.5″ inches of picatinny rail for optics mounting without having to replace your dust cover. It is mounted to the receiver with a hinge that replaces the gas tube lever and a tension adjustable locking lever secures it to the rear of the receiver. This creates two solid locking points that prevent movement and allow mounted optic to retain zero. It sits as low as possible allowing the use of iron sights and releasing the rear lever allows the dust cover to be removed just like normal.
